when I moved in the apartment was discusting. The floor had dirt and food all over. The bath tub had someone elses body grime in it and hair. The toilet still had pee all over it. So when I moved out I made sure the place was spotless. I asked the evil woman at the front desk down stairs to do a walkthrough but she said " I trust you". Next thing I know I get charged $125 in cleaning fees. She first tried to say everyone gets charged that eventhough it was not in the lease...then she changed the story and said the apartment was VERY dirty. My husband and I know better than to leave a place dirty. But its ok I will just let housing deal with it.

I moved in the Northward building on a 6-month lease to be closer to my college classes. the handicapped apartment i moved into was cold during the winter months (like in an unheated garage); the security slams the stairwell doors during their checks in the wee hours of the night; all my respected friends were "86" from the building; i could smell marijuana smoke in the hallways; bunch of drunks in the elevator and parties all night; i could hear you talking in your apartment(lol) and i had to pay both the front desk and GCI for cable/phone/internet. Bunch of crooks. Not one told me about this when i signed for the deal. Upon accepting a last minute job and moving out in a week (then i was on a month-to-month lease) i received a bill for trash and cleaning. I had left two important bags of clothing and paperwork (and they threw it in the trash) and charged me for it. The apartment was ---- and span when i left (cleaner than how i found it) and i was charged another $125 for cleaning. I'm glad Lori left those people (probably for reason too) They took my $300 deposit. Time to slap that woman with a lawsuit.
