Not a terrible place to live but certainly not recommended especially if you are a non-smoker. Management reacts only if backed into a corner. They recommend calling with complaints but don't return calls. Go to the office and corner them in a room and you have a chanch. Why not recommended to non-smokers'
Two days before Thanksgiving new tennants moved in below my apartment. Heavy smokers. The smoke pours up from the floor moldings filling any or all my rooms. I attemped to plug openings in the flooring, kept windows open 24/7 and ordered an air purifier. The smoke overcomes the air purifier. Two phone calls to management were ignored. They responded only when I sent them a copy of a document I sent to the city air polution department. They sent an engineer to the apartment who said it was impossible for the smoke to come up but offered to plug the holes around the heating pipes. I havent heard anything since nor have the openings been pluged other that what I did myself. I have resorted to sleeping in the kitchen where the least amount of smoke accumulates. I've been driven out of the apartment twice to get away from the smoke. So, non-smokers, and maybe smokers, beware of this place.

Update
Now it is nearly two months later. I've attempted to correct the situation bu using a third party moderator. The apartment management has not even responded to the moderator. I'd might as well be dead.
