They are starting to go downhill. the quality of maintenance is going down and the place has been sold. I've never found either to be a good sign. What is worse, however, is that the new owners want to trap those of us who have signed an initial lease and are now month-to-month at our original rates or some slight modification thereof with new leases or force us to pay an additional $100/month. The early termination fees are exorbitant, consisting of one month's rent 5% of the rent due for any remaining months. This is a sleazy tactic and reminiscent of slumlords.
