I have lived here for several years out of necessity, not because I wanted to. When I first moved here, the grounds were impecable and the pool was monitored regularly. This has declined rapidly to the point where our children are playing in knee deep grass and cigarette butts everywhere. The pool is not monitored AT ALL to make sure the proper rules are followed. Pool passes are never checked and I'm sure word has gotten around because everytime I have taken my child this season we encounter a large group of kids and teens that are not residents. They take up the majority of the pool and furniture and are loud and disrespectful. My children know they don't live here because they know where they get on/off at the bus stops. We have watched them leave the complex either on foot or bicycle either going down Simmsville Rd or the adjacent trailer park behind the bottom pool. NO ONE SEEMS TO CARES!! When you call the office you are told that there is no way they can control it. It has become like an "Ensley community pool" and my children are frequently exposed to vulgar language and inappropriate physical displays. Not to mention we have two pools but it is now June 2 and only one is open. This is a large complex and way too many residents alone for one pool, much less others from the surrounding areas being allowed to invade. This is a horrible, crime ridden place to live and certainly not for children.

My son lived in this complex from 08/01/08 through 10/01/09 and the damage that was reported to the office when he moved in was never fixed. Including an electric socket that leaked whenever it rained, and a 2ft x 2ft square of missing carpet, probabley removed because it was stained and never replaced. When they offered 400.00 for referrals he recommended this place to a friend in August 2009 and and after his friend signed the lease he was told he wasnt elegible for the bonus because he was going to move out at the end of his lease. So much for giving notice like required in the lease agreement. Nice big apartment, just be prepared to be screwed.
