I have lived at Cane Creek for almost 2 years. The only reason I am moving out is because my fiance is being transferred to Tuscaloosa. The apartments are pretty well kept. The only major problem we had were ants. They come out of every hole they can find. The pest control guy comes once a month, but I think they are in the walls. The management is very nice and helpful. We had to park on the street so that was one downside. My car was hit, but Sheila was very helpful in trying to figure out who did it. The apts aren't very insulated, so they stay pretty cold during the winter, and our power and gas are always sort of high. But they are very old buildings so there isn't much that can be done. There were a few break ins, but we personally never had any problems. Groups of people walked the streets at night, which was sort of scary, but Anniston police moved into some of the apts, and circled the blocks quite often. I am really going to miss living here overall. We really enjoyed it, and it really felt like home. We always had great neighbors
