The level of crime and lack of response to it ultimately led to our decision to leave. We did not feel safe. We witnessed drug deals and car break-ins multiple times outside our unit. Management did not stand up to tenants who were responsible for the drug use and crime and allowed intimidation of other residents. The lighting on the second floor is nearly non-existent and I know of several young women who reported feeling unsafe and seeing men peering in their windows. Police were also slow to respond. Management did nothing. Walkways flooded often. Don't know if they fixed that problem. Our water heater flooded the apartment, the paint job prior to our move in was ridiculously inadequate and not completed in a timely manner, and our air conditioning repeatedly broke. The pool was not cleaned often and other "amenities" were basically unusable. For the price, we did get a good sized unit, but it wasn't worth all the headache and unsafe environment. Unless they have made significant changes, I would only recommend as a very temporary living situation and maybe only if you have a way to protect yourself.
