I lived at aspen ridge apartments for five months before i could not take it any more.





1. I dont know if it is just that part of town or it?s just the power company, but my powerbill during the fall season averaged $150.00 for a 1 bedroom apartment. My neighbour was paying the same. My bill this past fall at my new place 10 miles away avarages $32.00.


2. The apartment i lived in was not well insulated. I complained but all they did was put weather stripping on the doors. That did not help.


3. After i moved out the apartment people opened up a collection account on me for 1 months rent. Now i have a negative report on my credit report. My account was paid in full including fines for terminating my lease early. I am now in the process of trying to get that removed.


4. I called maintenance once to fix a problem with my kitchen. They did a shoddy job. Had to get them sent back.


5. I learnt recently that the apartments are now under new management since nov 1st 2002. When i called to inquire about the collection account i was transfered to the assistant manager, a ms Fran. Ms Fran said that i had to talk to the manager about my case. I then proceeded to ask her who the manager was and she said Jean. I asked what was Jean?s last name but she would not tell me. When i asked why, she hang up on me.





You would think that ?under new management? means changes have been effected, but with the phone ettiquete from ms Fran am not convinced that much has changed. Atleast as far as customer service is concerned.
