I am a single mother whom has seen this complex and all it's problems in all it's glory. First of all we have convicted sex offenders living on property all the time, Miles property does'nt give a ---- about the parents nor the children in the complex if they did they would have done something about the out of control drug problem the break ins or kick ins or what ever you want to call them. Homewood PD has all the stats on the crime on this property and it is public knowledge. The security they have here sucks, You never see them nor do they respond to anything, I guess this is where my hard earn money goes to pay for which is nothing but TOTAL ----!!!!!!!!!I hate it here and the staff is sorry as hell also, Maintenance is terrible they will come to your unit but you better believe when they do they are taking something with them out of your unit (Theft)....Once my lease is up I am outta here and alot more people here feel the same way (UNSAFE and FEARFUL) The juveniles are out of control here and run like a pack of wild dogs. Also there was a murder on the property on Saturday morning about 2:00am 22 March 2008 not only is this place unsafe but it is now ridiculous I'm outta here with the quickness I don't give a damn about a lease my life and the life of my children are worth more than any damn lease so if the office has a problem with that then they can kiss my ASSet.

I live here in Highland Peak too. Been here 18months. I'v acquired legal representation against Miles Properties. They'v been overcharging me for rent for 6 months. Shut off my utilities in the middle of my lease when My utilities have been included in my rent since I'v lived here. Everything this person says about this shi%%y place is true, BEWARE of these apartments

Move to hoover, I live at Riverchase Landing and it is great......The apts. are huge too.
