I had a pleasant experience living at Aspen Trail. I lived in one of the efficiencies for seven months, using the apt. during the week while I worked in the City. Though the staff was not overly friendly, I realize they do not have an easy job, what with people not paying rent, always some problem, so I just took that in stride. I always paid my rent on time and never had a problem except that the garbage disposal did not work and the water in the bath did not get hot. Yes, they did leave reminders on the doors about paying rent on time, but that just means they had a problem getting it on time. Otherwise, why would they post such notes. I don't think it was for fun or because they just wanted to waste time and paper. But, it has almost been a month since I've moved and I have not gotten back my deposit. I scrubbed everything in the apt., including carpet, cabinets, baseboard, etc. and only had one nail hole in the walls and no dirt spots. There was a place on the counter top that was present when I moved in. I just called and left a message about my deposit and I'm waiting for a return call. We'll see just what happens. Marilyn King.
