in depth review of this dump

After living here for 2 years now, here is My list of Pros and Cons:
Pros: plenty of available units, facility has a centralized garbage compactor, plenty of greenery (shrubs, trees and grass), located fairly close to just about anything youd want, free basic cable and one HBO channel.
Cons:
gunshots at least once a month.
police like to block off all entry twice a year, and check ID & insurance of anyone that passes through.
new management team is nearly as horrible as the last bunch. (example: some tennant parked a motorcycle on My porch so I complained to the office, who proceeded to list *MY* complaint as one against ME, and tried to fine me $50 for leaving "trash" - the motorcycle - on the patio) this type of mishap is *VERY common*.
maintainence is a nightmare. not only are they poor of quality, they are slow to respond, if they even bother to respond at all. Ive been here 2 years now and I *STILL* dont have a working baking element in the oven.
some punks think its fun to run around and turn off the power to different buildings, and no, the management team does not lock the power switch box.
most mailbox master doors are in disrepair, and the management staff will not fix them. they say that it is up to the US post office. the Postmaster says its up to the property owners.
they refuse to offer Customer Loyalty Concessions, which is BS.
most Laundry facilities are in bad shape. they are run by a third party company ("Coinmach") who only checks on them once a month. when a machine fails, its down for a while.
Parking is *AMPLE* (usually half the spaces are unoccupied) and yet they restrict parking passes to one per unit.
Summary: only consider moving into Aspen Trail, Aspen Run or Aspen Ridge if you are desperate.
