only an option if you are looking for a scummy place

I lived in the townhouse part of Autumn Village and it was my worst living experience ever. The old saying "you pay for what you get" definitely is evident with this property. The rent is low, but so is everything about the property. The office staff would never answer their phones when I called with a maintenance request. I would immediately drive to the office and all 4 of them would be huddled together outside talking, laughing, and smoking cigarettes. When I would ask for the maintenance request they would look at me as if I were bothering them during their smoke/gossip fest. There is no truer statement I've read about this property than the cat statement. It is more overpopulated with stray mangy cats than the humane society. Not to mention the cats that holler because they are in heat at all hours of the day. My neighbors constantly left their garbage outside nothing was ever done about that. Speaking of neighbors, I had two people that actually rented the apartment next door, but there was never less than fifteen people there. They quit paying their bills and would ask me if all fifteen of them could shower in my place. There was damage to my apartment because of a fire and I was offered no reciprocation other than a motel room for a couple of days (per the fire marshal's request). No compensation for all my clothes that had to be rewashed, window treatments that had to be taken to the cleaners to remove the smoke smell, nor the inconvenience it caused. I cannot fail to mention that the burned down apartment stayed burned down for about 3 months before any action was taken to repair it. Broken glass from the windows that busted out was plentiful all over my porch and the walkway. The smell from the burned down apartment was terrible. Nothing was done until I called the mayor to come look at it. Suddenly the construction began on the apartment. The literature claims to have two pools, however one is operable and they close it approximately 2 month before summer is over. When it is open it is not taken care of and the body oil that floats on the top of the pool is about 2 inches thick. The only way I would recommend this place is if you are on a tight budget and do not care about how your living quarters are represented nor how you are treated.
