I moved into Autumn Village in 2008 with realistic expectations. There have been minimal disappointments and other minor issues that I have just accepted and moved on. I do not believe that the carpet was cleaned before I moved in. It took a few days for it to air out and the musty scent to leave. My neighbors litter quite a bit. The grounds around my building will be cleaned and in a short time, trash is back on the walkway and ground. The apartments are in a good location with easy access to I-65/I-459. The rent is reasonable and there is a good elementary school in the area. Many children reside in the apartment community, but there is no adequate play area for them. There are problems with limited parking in some buildings (more residents than available spaces). Management has made efforts to resolve parking issues by asking residents not to park in fire lanes, etc. The exercise room should not be advertised at all because it is not functional and there are about 5 out-dated machines. I know of someone's car that was recently broken into and the GPS stolen. If your expections are very high then Atumn Village/Ashford Townhomes are probably not a good selection. However, if you are looking for a decent place and a good school, it would be a good choice.
