Let's just say that we have had more problems here than any apartments ever. It is extremely bad when the apartments are so cheaply built that you can hear your downstairs neighbors goings on. Every board in the house creeks and pops and it is so annoying you can't stomach it, especialy if you have different schedules going on in the home. The noise outside is horrible. You have a trash truck that comes through 3 times a week, and noone knows when. Fine if you all work out of the home, but anyone that stays home or has children that take naps during the day will not be happy here. Also, if you have a baby, kiss them having a good night or day's sleep goodbye. It WILL NOT happen.

I love the apartment, HUGE is right. The staff thus far has been great about alot of things, satisfactory on others. I blame the apartment management company for the crappy construction. I do however blame management for the people they screen to live here. I can see by the more people I see coming through here acting like "thugs" that it will not be long until it is as bad as Sharpsburg, so if you want to live in a ghetto, then come on.

The appliances leave MUCH to be desired. So far we had to clean the freezer(under the shelf which granted, almost noone realizes you can unscrew and clean under that) was FILLED with mold / mildew from lack of cleaning. The thermostat for the AC has been replaced once, and is about to have to be replaced again after only a few months. The hot water heater is on the fritz, it was set extremely high and everything was too hot, then they adjusted it and it would take forever to get hot, and so they supposedly put it back but it STILL takes forever to get hot and seems to be getting worse. They replaced the toilets with the worst pile of garbage I've ever seen. ANNOYING is the best word for these new toilets they have that don't even really want to flush a little toilet paper. Oh, and they never have replaced the windows they said they would take care of that you can't see through. The sliding door to the porch is huge, a HUGE nightmare, they are HARD to open and they are so old they let EVERYTHING in!!!!! I can't wait to find a place with wonderful french doors again.

You have people sitting around with their headlights on in the middle of the night right through your window. You have horns blowing all hours of the night and some people seem to think it ok to blow it every 5 minutes for an hour. Then you have people that don't seem to know how to get their car alarm to go off and stay off as it seems to come on, they turn it of, minute later it comes on again and so forth until they figure it out. Then you have Cats loose and meowing all over the place. I love cats, but I do NOT want people's loose cats meowing outside my apartment window all night because it is in heat. I don't want to hear them fight. I don't want to hear people's loud dogs barking any time they choose including in the middle of the night. No offense to management but they expect YOU, the person PAYING to live here to monitor it all so close you can tell what person is causing the infraction. Well, I feel it should be their responsibility to post the courtesy officer in that general area every now and then ( certain nights, never the same so that noone knows when to expect him or where ) to find out what all is going on.

Bottom line, we get woke up too often at night. My husband can't get any sleep worth speaking of. I can't get alot of sleep. My baby gets far too little sleep for a baby, but she does fine when not in this apartment with all the outside noise.

The gutters stay filled with straw. If something were to happen, it'd be a fire hazard.

Management can obviously not do anything about the majority of the noise. People have their kids going off to the school bus or cars from 6 00 to 7 am and being loud as they can, screaming and carrying on like banshees. You have inconsiderate people all over that yell across the parking lot anytime of the night they choose, or talking as loud as possible over a cell phone so the other party can hear them, but they wake YOU up.

It's just horrible. At this point I cry too often because it is just an unbearable nightmare that I want to end. I love the manager and her son is wonderful, the apartments are lovely for the most part, some slack jobs have made them not so great though ( alot of bad taping, crappy cabinetry, carpet not put down right). But I am just so ready for my lease to be up. Summer is coming and we know the huge roaches will be back. We just want out.

Up side. Great management and maintenance if you know what you want and what you're talking about and if you press without being a jerk like some people. Some nice people. If they would better screen those moving in here, it would be gloriously better I'm sure. Get rid of the trash and most likely 90% of the noise would go with them. The kids in the morning wouldn't bother if we got a good night's sleep. Also, if the construction was better so you couldn't hear everything and everyone around you, that would be great.

Well, obviously these people have never lived in an apartment before. I have lived here for 2 1/2 years and have never had a problem. If you don't want to hear your neighbors you should move to a house.
