Branchwater Apartments

still live here... From: fudgey187 Date posted: 1/25/2008 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2008   i agree with most of the comments put on the site, good and bad. #1. the apts are really huge and the price is decent for the amount of space you have. #2. the neighbors can get noisy. i agree that it seems that most of the residents do not work. they do stay outside a lot and carry on rather loudly (barefoot and loud), and yes it does seem that there are quite a few trashy-lookin people that live here. #3. the kids are horrible! they are loud, obnoxious and you are always about to run them over with your car. and some of them would knock on my door from time to time asking if they could take out the trash for a dollar, or if i wanted to buy some random household item from them. weird crap kids do i guess. and yes they are up at all hours of the night...even the 2 and 3 year olds... #4. parking is horrible. there are a few visitor parking spots, however several are taken up by cars that never move... which sucks! i have to park a pretty good distance away sometimes and dont like to do so b/c i cant see whats going on with my car with all the crack baby kids running around. #5. the apts are old! some of them have been remodeled now with new carpet, linoleum and cabinets and such... #6. you can hear everything that goes on with the neighbors, through the walls. the floors creak awful bad. #7. there is a bug issue. however the apts are located in a wooded like area. so yes there will be bugs, not sure how you can control nature in that way. #8. a lot of the residents have dogs. so there are a lot of dogs barking at all hours of the day and night. and there is also a lot of dog poop in the grass/straw areas. sometimes when you park far away from your apt you may elect to walk through the straw to avoid going all the way around...well you have to almost clean your shoes with a pressure hose to get all the poop off later...i cant stand that! #9. the pool is nice, the tennis/basketball court is also. #10. it does take a lot to heat and cool those apts. i have never seen any thug like individuals at the apt complex, but maybe they are referring to black people. there arent a lot of ------- americans that live at the complex, but the ones that do are very nice. there are maybe 5 total families that i have noticed... i would take living with them any day over some of the jobless trash that hang out outside all the live long day. these apts also have a very high turnover rate. your neighbors are never your neighbors for long. i have seen at least 5 families live in one apt across from me in the last 2 years that i have lived here. there are always moving trucks on my street. i'm not one that complains a lot about goings on outside my apt walls...unless it affects what im doing on the inside i could care less about the ppl around me... if i can turn my tv up to drown out the noise outside and nobodys scratching and stealing my car...then im good! i even like some of my jobless noisy neighbors, the ones closest to me are actually pretty nice. if you are one of those ppl that you go to work, you come home, and do your thing and arent bothered easily by things around you and enjoy living in a huge apt then this place will be great for you.
