The Worst Apartments & Most Incompetent Mgmt. in B'ham

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
My family has, unfortunately, lived in CL for almost two years now. Thankfully, we are about to move into a house. In the two years we have lived here, we have had to deal with raccoons in our attic every fall & winter, maintenance that takes an average of a month to get to your apartment to fix something, ugly landscaping, and mgmt. that are not at all easy to deal with. We have also not been able to enjoy any of the "amnities" we were promised when we moved in, such as the indoor pool, which has not been open since we moved in in 2003. Only one tiny, nasty pool was open this summer and I wouldn't let my children near it b/c of all the stuff floating around in it and all the trash around it.
Finally, we were a week late paying our rent (& we had been on time almost every month since we moved in) last summer and the mgmt. sent us an eviction letter on the 10th! We ended up having to pay almost $1400 for rent that month, including lawyer's fees! (Rent is only $664). To top it off, when we tried to contact mgmt. about this matter, they wouldn't talk to us-they told us to go talk to their lawyer. They were, and still are, very hateful to us. I would not want my worst enemy to live here.
