Cahaba Lakes formerly Hunter's Pointe

First of all My husband and I lived their for 2 years. It wasn't bad at first, but then management changed. Suddenly we couldn't get anything done, and the place started to look horrible. Parking was a nightmare. We were LUCKY if we got to park in the same zip code as our apartment. Because I worked late some nights, my husband made me call him when I got in to the parking lot so that he could escort me to the front door. Too much crime and shady neighbors. I wont even mention how noisy our neighbors were. 5:00am was our neighbors favorite time to play his mexican music as loud as he could. Management could have cared less when we complained. Maintence was no existent. I was informed that they only had 1 maintence person for 801 units. The manager saw no problem with this. We reported a leak in our ceiling, 2 weeks later they came in a painted over the spots. We went out of town the next weekend and came back to our closet ceiling on the floor. HUM'!' Guess they should have actually fixed the leak. Turns out our upstairs neighbors apartment was flooded. Guess if they had checked it out when it first happened that could have been avoided. We had holes in our bedroom walls for 6months. They put them their when they replaced the siding. Took 6 months of complaining before they even came and looked at them. My advice. Don't move here!
