I heard that last Wednesday 8-16-06, there was a helicopter hovering over this place looking for a RAPIST AND A CHILD MOLESTER who live here, with cops on the ground all around the complex.

Sounds safe to me!!!! haha


yeah he was apprehended at Longhorn AFTER he was chased by a helicopter there from CAHABA LAKES. 8/28/06

The sad thing about the whole situation is that they do not tell people what is going on. We have to find out through hear say. Yes that man was a rapist and because they did not warn us, he came back out here again and raped another lady the next day. Oh but i forgot. This is 280. Things like that only happen on the southside. Could this be why they did not tell us????????????? People have children out here, and if they know that he is out why not warn the parents so that they wont be just handing this man easy prey. and when i acutually called and asked what was going on instead of them telling me what happen they want to know "where I'm getting my information from" and April had the nerve to tell me that he was in the Inverness area but he wasn't in Cahaba Lakes. HOW IN THE **** DOES SHE KNOW WHERE HE IS? IF THATS THE CASE WHY DIDNT SHE AID THE POLICE IN CATCHING HIM. Oh yeah, they got him at Longhorn! Anybody know who close Longhorn is to Cahaba Lakes?

The Longhorn steakhouse is next to the Home Depot, which is right in front of the Cahaba Lakes apartment complex. Renter beware!! This place does not screen tenants very well, so your neighbor may not be so neighborly! Breaking your lease is expensive, but think about your peace of mind...PRICELESS.

THE RAPE DID NOT EVEN OCCUR PERIOD!! FIRST, GET A LIFE.....and secondly GET YOUR STORY STRIGHT...The apartment complex was NEVER involved!!! The ATTEMPTED Rape occured at a HOTEL about 1 mile AWAY!!!!, and Secondly, it never had anything to do with Cahaba Lakes Community!!!

you people are so full of false information. if you really cared about your safety, you would get the facts together and maybe even call your local police department like i did. you should not scare people out of their homes by saying what you think happened instead of the truth. the police got him yes, but it was not by helicopter and the criminal that was on the loose was in the inverness area all through the day, not just at cahaba lakes. he did not rape anyone at cahaba lakes, but he attempted to rape a woman at a local hotel, and he was unsuccessful, thank god. i am a person who enjoys this community and i find it very strange that you idiots don't have the common sense to call the police when you want to know your drama. get it right, people. you're wasting time and energy. oh, and longhorn is not in cahaba lakes. drive around and you will see that.

You are right about them monitoring this site. I made a comment on here about a month ago about a charge the management forgot to make to my pre-lease agreement and a few days later I had one of the office staff call me and say, we forgot to add a charge to your pre-lease agreement and we wanted to make sure you remembered to pay it. When I asked what made them remember this person said "I saw something that made me think of it".
