Well you get what you pay for. Parking is hard because in some cases you have more than a couple of cars for one apartment. Then the lights in the parking lots and outside the buildings sometimes work and sometimes you are screwed and really have to pay attention with your surroundings. This apartment community has had SWAT and Marshalls busting down doors on Buck Horn Cove(I have seen it), lovers quarrels ending in murder, suicides, a couple of fires(one due to lack of maintenence)all in the few years I have been here. The leasing agents don't seem to really care about your problems here either. I have had numerous problems and only a few have been addressed. Doors aren't properly sealed so your power bill will be higher. Raccoons in the walls will keep you awake. Units on the lake have bug problems. The price is good but you have to understand that maybe paying a higher price you won't have all these problems. Finally, I have heard that the Latinos are part of the problem because there are so many of them in this community AND that is not the case. I totally agree with the review. If you are one looking into the Townhomes please beaware that the upstairs bedroom is hot during the summer and cold during the winter. They have the worst maintience there is in birmingham i think. If you are thinking about moving here...think twice.
