Charter East were the worst apartments I've ever lived in. There were always groups of men hanging around your apartment and your car, as well as out of the upstairs windows. Being that I am a single female who live alone, I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe to come home. The men would shout out of the windows at you and would watch you the entire time you walked to your apartment or car. The property was a mess. Trash was everywhere and broken downs cars took up all of the parking spaces. Management was very rude when I brought all of these things to her attention. She seemed as if she didn't care at all. The second week I was there, she tired to rip me off by telling me that I didn't pay all of my deposit. If that were the case, why would she allow me to move in' I refused to give here anymore money to live there. When I originally viewed this property, I saw none of this. It wasn't until the day I actually moved in that I saw a change. I went to walmart to but additional locks for my door. I really wouldn't reccommend these apartments to anyone. I moved out before the end of the month. I couldn't take being scared in my own home. I never even unpacked my things.
