I MISS IT!

Chestnut Tree was the first complex I ever lived in. I was there from July 05-06 and I didn't want to leave (I moved from out of town and had to go back)!! I did ALOT of research (including looking at over 20 complexes and this entire site) and was TERRIFIED of what I was getting into. It seemed like everyone had a horror story and got screwed over in some way by crazy apartment managers or crappy apartments. There were actually no reviews on Chestnut Tree at the time, which made me even more apprehensive. My fiancee and I moved in anyway and we are so glad we did!

Our apartment was spacious and pleasant to live in. You're a minute from I-65, but you don't hear any of the noise. There's monthly pest control (outside) and you can have them spray inside if you want. The appliances all worked great from the start and any maintenance requests were handle promtly and professionally.

The office staff, however, is the very best part about living at Chestnut Tree. It's a small complex, and Freda, who seems to know everyone well, is always helpful, courteous and professional. There's no problem to big or small and she's always fair and keeps her word. She's an awesome apt manager and one of the nicest people in the world besides! Case in point: I forgot to turn my power off when I moved out and she actually called Alabama Power for me to have it transferred back into the apartment's name. (They never have the power cut off, but the comlex pays for it while no one is living in a specific apartment.) Keep in mind that this was almost a MONTH after I moved out!!! She had no obligation to do anything for me and could have left me stuck with a power bill that was from when I wasn't even living there, but she took care of it!!!

If you have any questions, or want to hear a thousand more great things about Chestnut Tree, email me at the address above because they're great and if you're thinking about moving to Chestnut Tree, DO IT! The location is amazing, the price is right, the apartment is nice and the management is the best in the world. You can't lose!!!
