Bugs, Bugs, Bugs

My husband and I first moved to one of the townhomes which was infested with small roaches. Despite calling them in to spray over and over the little nasties continued to show themselves. My neighbor admitted the bugs were everywhere in his apt but he never let them spray because he slept during the day. So, two weeks after moving in we chose to move to a different building. The little roaches were gone but then we had to deal with the SUPER roaches (some call them waterbugs) that live outside but found their way into the apartment at least every other day. I have come to realize that part of living in Birmingham is having to deal with these monsters, but the management did nothing to prevent them from taking over the walkways and entering the apartments. They don't die easily and I spent the majority of the one year I lived in the apartment trying to kill the ones that came inside and the rest of the time on edge expecting to see another scurry by (at record speeds I might add). I couldn't ever relax in my own apartment because every single time I started to let my guard down another one would run down my TV. The manager said they live outside and won't come inside. That is a complete lie! When there are 100 of them outside your door one is eventually going to wander inside.
These bugs are everywhere but I can now say by experience that it is possible to rid the property of them if you spray regularly. I couldn't wait to get out of this apartment and have been so happy since we left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
