Renters Beware: Check Water Bill Policy From: ichoose06 Date posted: 9/18/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   Did you know that The Grove, currently known as CG@Riverchase Trls, charges residents a flat $35 whether or not they consume water' Apparently, they have arranged a preset usage quota which, if exceeded, will cost the resident additional charges above and beyond the 'standard' flat rate of $35. That's robbery. Who pockets that extra $35 dollar per month charge' This FEE represents approximately $144,900 annually that 'The Grove' is collecting, unfairly. Most other facilities have a pay per usage policy or may charge an addional $10 per month to cover water usage, which is a reasonable arrangement. This 'Water/Gate' policy is outrageous and current/potential residents need to start asking the management some serious questions before either renewing their leases or signing on the dotted line. If not, then budget at least an additional $420 per year into your living expenses at 'The Grove.' PS. The 'security' gate is broken!!! --- again.
