After reading some of the reviews other people have left I consider myself kind of lucky. There is a bug problem but its not in our apartment, its on our porch. They do offer pest control every Tuesday, but it took us 3 weeks of calling every week to get pest control. We have lived here almost a year and have only found maybe 5 roaches inside our apartment, granted that there shouldnt be any at all, but our place is not a roach motel. We do like to enjoy the view from our patio and at night you learn to keep your feet on your chair or the table. On the patio, especially during the summer, roaches are everywhere, climbing in and out of the wooden boards that make up our "could be better" deck. As far as the deck itself, it could have been a little better crafted. There are places where they skipped putting down a nail or two, or five, and the boards are "economically spaced" if you know what I mean. We havent had any problems with a leaky fridge or ice maker and our dishwasher works good, but our toilet likes to play tricks with us every once in a while. We do have baseboards, fluffy carpet, and nice up-to-date tile floor in both the bathroom and the kitchen. Although, just brushing up against any of the corners in the entry way to the kitchen and in the dining area will knock off sheetrock and expose a steel corner. I guess thats just the way theyre made though. I think all of these things are just little things that come along with the $455.00 in rent we pay for one of the biggest one bedrooms offered right off Hwy. 280. And yes the loud stereos, buzzing exhaust, and noisy neighbors (the people under us are OBSESSED with their X-Box & Playstation 2) also come along with the territory, my fiance being one to blame. But if youre young, cant wait to get out of your parents house, or youre in school this is a fun place to live.
