office staff lies about "company policy"

I went through the application process today, the staff was RUDE, CONFUSED and I know for a fact one woman FLAT OUT LIED to me. If I hear "that's company policy" one more time when I know for a fact it is not I'm gonna scream. Wherever the corporate managers are you need to check out what is going on in your offices because, as I'm sure you can see I am not the only one complaining and I am normally a VERY patient person I assure you.
