Colonial Village at Rocky Ridge has been a most unpleasant experience. I have lived here a few years and the first year was ok...timely maintenace crew, secluded complex, and ample parking. No one really bothered anyone and there was no fear for my safety or any crime apparent. In the last year this place has gone nowhere but downhill. We have had a crime spree where ATV's, motorcycles and cars were stolen from the parking lots, horrible tenants moving in who pack 5 people to a one bedroom apartment, trash, broken beer bottles and nuts and bolts from car repairs fill the parking lots. The management responds to NO complaints except those for maintenance on the apartments. Neighbors are loud and unruly, frequenty having parties at all hours of the night, various domestic disagreements in the parking lot at night (to which the courtesy officer is called on but never shows up)pets run free and chase other tenants, biting at your ankles! There is a new water/sewer charge added to monthly rent and although they told us we would begin paying for this in November 2003, they backdated the bills to August 2004...so when I move out of here, I will still be paying water for 2 months following. The apartments have MASSIVE spiders when warm weather begins (I've had them and so have 2 other tenants I have met.) I honestly cannot warn anyone enough about moving into here. I'd advise you find somewhere quieter, cheaper, and where the management team actually cares about their tenants. I bet this property will be condemned in the next few years. It's truly falling apart.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOUR REVIEW. I LIVE HERE & MY LEASE IS ABOUT TO EXPIRE. THINGS WERE OK IN THE BEGINNING, BUT THE APARTMENTS HAVE GONE DOWN. THEY NEED PAINTING & A MAJOR RENOVATION.
