Not a good experience. The people in the office misplaced, then found, my rent check TWICE, each time tried to charge me a late fee (after they found the checks they had lost, they suspended their attempts to do so). Things were stolen from my apartment by their Terminix man. They came in my apartment while I was gone, never explained why. I paid a pet fee the very day I moved in, then two years later, they came back and claimed that I had not done so. After providing proof that I had, in fact, paid them, they dropped their claims, but never so much as apologized. The list could go on and on. During my years there, they also rented an apartment to a convicted sex offender, did not notify any of the other Devonshire residents. I found out about him only after a relative who works for the Bhm Police Dept told me about it.

I also had a bad experience with this property. We lived there for 3 long long years until we wised up and moved out of state. I lived there in 2001-2004 and they did have a sex offender living there and not notify anyone about it. I found out by my neice who pretty much knew the neighborhood. That is when I decided it was time to go. They did not give me back my deposit even though we gave them a 60 day notice instead of a 30 day. They claimed that they had to clean the carpets and it was worth 400 bucks instead of the 200 they owed me. I don't know any cleaning service would charge 400 dollars to clean a carpet. The carpet was just dirty from the 3 years worth, but not dirty that it couldn't come up. They are a rip off and I hope whoever that manager is I hope they fired her.
