I've lived here a year now and things have been "iffy" lately.
The last 6 months or so have been not so great.
Problems have been:
Security not working half the time..
LOTS or fire alarm issues!
No one ever knows where the keys to fix the elevators are after the fire alarm.
Also the elevators are in bad shape they make all kinds of odd sounds..
The lights in the stairwell on a few floors don't work.
Also trash and junk in the stairwells left out.
The fact that the manager seems to change every few months..
Parking is getting bad, not all there fault.
But I'm not going to pay 50$ a month for it when it was 25$ before.
People still are parking in the driving lane making it hard to dive in at all.
Despite their said "warnings" they still park where ever they feel..
The landscape looks like crap lately.
The shop below has been vacant for a year now..
(they want to much for the space I'm guessing)
They need to rent it out already, as it's an eye sore like it is.
The let someone leave vespas outsied with for sale signs on them.. like this is a car lot or something!
Some residents have been less then nice a few even worrying.
There was talk of "improvements" not to long ago but I have yet to see any.
Most all the toilets seem to be dieing! They look like they are a good 30 years old.
People have said that the new manager can't "find" their deposits..
That all seems fishy to me.. :(
Positive:
Still have nice views and the rents not too bad for around here.
Almost never any noise ever!
All in all you get what you pay for I guess.
But I have to admit I may be moving in 2008 if things don't get better this year.

Could you be one of those typical residents who demand the impossible?Never happy with anything in life?I know the management and the maintainence. And no I do not work there or live there.I have been on these elevators and I don't find them to make any strange noises. They do know where the keys are to the elevators. Trash is picked up every morning. The only stairwells that are on the side of the building because there are no interior stairs from the 3rd floor to the top floor. To enter the blg from the stairs you must have a key. Only from 1st floor to the second floor.I have never seen trash and I am in that building alot.If a car is parked on the sidewalk part of the driveway legally mngmnt cannot do anything about that. The cops are responsible for ticketing and removing these illegally parked cars. That's who you need to call when you see this. What are VESPAS? Never seen any for sale signs ourside this bldg. The current manager has been there since Jan '07. The manager before had been there about 1 yr.Management changed because the last manager found a higher paying job.You would would change jobs if it paid better.I have found the residents to be very nice. Most of the problems with the toilets is because people use to much toilet paper or put things in it that so not go in a toilet. What is everyone worried about.Like I said I am in and out of that bldg alot.Wish I could live there but with a house full of kids I need more room.
