I've lived in these apartments for a little over 5 years now. The first few years were great. Maintenance was very responsive and efficient, the grounds were kept clean and management was excellent. In the last couple of years however these things have continued to go downhill. I have had several problems reported multiple times with no resolution after 2-3 months. The exercise room as stated in other posts has no air conditioning so is extremely hot in the summer. Much of the equipment is broken and unusable and has been for well over a year now. The laundry room often has 1 or 2 machines out of 4 that is broken or unusable. There is often trash in the parking lot and along the lawns which although is probably more due to residents than to management but it isn't picked up as it should be by management/groundskeeping. Utilities/trash are billed separately so they can slowly increase the bill without breaking rent laws. The pool area is often littered with trash and the chairs themselves have nasty looking black stains on them.
I've reported squirrels in my walls and ceiling every year when it turns cold and they used to make efforts to get rid of them however even that has stopped in recent years and they refuse to fix the grate under the eaves that would prevent the squirrels from getting in at all. Because of the squirrels and lack of insulation the bedroom closet is basically the same temperature as the outside when the door is kept closed and runs up the electricity bill if I try to heat/cool it.
As others have said, it is a nice area although even that is changing with recent development projects in the area but if you move here don't expect the amenities to work and don't expect maintenance to be responsive to your needs. A few years ago I would have highly recommended these apartments but now I would not recommend them to anyone and the only reason I renewed this year is because I plan to move out of state soon and didn't want to move twice in a short time.
