i've been here for almost a year. The old manager Carmen got things done and didn't put up with any crap from anyone, anytime I needed to call the Office she was there between 8 and 5 except for lunch. But the new manager never answers the phone becuase she's hardly even there. I have even called the office and somebody's child is answering the phone. Maintenace is a JOKE nothing is ever wrong or he can't find anything wrong when he comes out. Come by anytime day or night i'm pretty sure you will see a group of people hanging out keeping up noise. It's not quiet anymore have awakened to hear people arguing outside, i have seen people walking past my patio doors on the back of my apartment and often feel unsafe when coming home after dark. Parking is terrible and nobody seems to even want to attempt to do anything about it. Pest Control is not effective if you have spiders coming in your apartment. I have spoken to several neighbors who have seen mice in there apartments and plumbing is often backed up becuase the system needs an upgrade. The only good thing about Knollcrest Apartments in BIRMINGHAM, AL IS THE SCHOOL SYSTEM. If you want to charge $600 and up for an apartment it needs to be better taken care of, upgraded and better maintained. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
