I have been living at Lake Heather Reserve for about five months now. They have an awesome staff. The units are fabulous, spacious and clean!! If you are looking for great schools, great office staff, great maintenance, clean, quiet, peaceful place to live - then Lake Heather Reserve is the place to be. Close to shopping, dining, and entertainment. Their prices are very reasonable. The area is so beautiful!! I am an apartment locator from Houston, Texas and I have a lot of experience in the apartment business -- It doesn't get any better than this!! I am very happy here at Lake Heather Reserve!! TS

This sounds like it was written by the office staff or someone on the payroll, not an actual renter. This person doesn't seem to care that the security gates never work (but you pay gated community prices) and the available internet service through Direct Path is as slow as dial up during peak usage times (every evening, basically).

If you want a fast internet connection you need to go with Bell South. And you need to make sure the unit you lease has the fast connection with Bell South. Some of the buildings do not have the fast connection. Direct Path is working on that now. So you might want to call Bell South and see if they have a fast connection in your building. The gates have never worked since I have moved in. It does not bother me at all. I never see people driving around that look like they don't belong here. Even with a gated community, if a person wants to get in, they will. It doesn't bother me at all. And I don't work for Lake Heather Reserve. I live here. Surely you can think of some good things to say about the place. If you focus on the negative you are going to be unhappy. They have a lot of positive things going for them!! I am so very happy!! You can't find a nicer property for the price and for what they have to offer. Plus the schools are the best!! Most of the resident's in this area are paying a lot of money to be zoned to the schools. My kid's are the most important thing to me. I am very happy with "Berry Middle School" and "Spain Park High." Spain Park High is a blue ribbon school. What more could you ask for? :)

I am relocating and thinking about moving to lake heather reserve. the 2 reasons are that they have boat parking????? not sure what that is but i need it. I have a 21 ft skeeter and are the schools that good. I have a 9 year old girl that is leaving a very good school and i want make sure they are as good as advertised. you can e-mail at gofishjbwhite@yahoo.com

I'm a different tennent than those posting previously... yes they have boat parking but I do not think the spaces will accomodate a 21ft boat. I would call the office to make sure about this. Yes spain park high school is very good, but I am not familiar with the middle school. The apartments are very nice and upscale... but I have to echo the complaints of everyone else about the internet. It is very frustrating to not have a choice in ISP and be stuck with this virtually unusable internet service each evening from 6-9 PM. If you don't use the internet at those times then they are great.

I agree it must be office staff who posted this the gates stay broken they could care less about safety the parking is horrible sometimes half to walk past three buildings to get to purs suppose to have parking passes the internet trhe worse in the worl pony express would be better if you complain to the office they smile and say they will handle it but then they do nothing or if you complain on a noisy tentant above you they tell them they are sorry but that you complained on them so then you have mad neighbors who will be even louder very unprofessional staff. repairs take forever

My family and I lived in the 700 builing for 2 years. We loved the neighborhood! Greystone Elm was AWESOME as well as I have a brother who graduated from Spain Park High. Of which was an great school also. We had a few instances where the gate was inoperable, however it was fixed in a timely manner.Not repeatedly.... Also, the office staff was friendly and work orders were prompt when we were there. We left July 07 due to us needing more space b/c we had an addition to the family. If the internet is your biggest complaint versus a quite and well kept community, I think you may have a priority issue with yourself. The downfall that I can honestly say is the 280 traffic and Valleydale too at times. Convenient to grocery stores, malls and restaruants as well as my childrens pediatrician was 5 mins away. I miss the life! FYI.. we moved to Riverchase Landing after LHR and if you really want to get a taste of rude office staff and repairs never being taken care of check it out. You will appreciate the life at Lake Heather! I PROMISE!!!!! Best regards to you all..
