I lived at Lakeshore Gardens and I can tell you that I have never been more terrified when it gets dark than here. They do a great job making the apartments look nice on the outside and I can say that the apartment that I moved into was newly renovated, but I had many problems there. Maintenance does take a while to fix things and they have gotten smart with me before and said that if it wasn't an important problem then it could wait. 2nd, when Katrina hit and we got all that rain, I woke up one morning to water standing in both bedrooms and the furniture was ruined due to the water damage. Third, I was always afraid to stay by myself and after dark when I would come home from my daily activities I was always very cautious about my neighbors. There was a lot of noise at the apartments as well. I would not recommend living here unless you want to deal with these problems.
