Good Place to Live, RENT MUCH TO HIGH

I moved to Lakeshore Ridge when I moved to Birmingham. I did not know the area so this seemed like a nice place to live. The office staff is very friendly and will help you out most of the time. Except when the flood lights where I park were out for 3 months. I told the staff 3 or 4 times and they always assured me it would taken care of. It was but it took 3 months of walking through the dark to do so. Also over the last two years shutters have blown off the windows from storms. They have not replaced any of them and some hang from the siding by one screw. You would think with the money you pay in rent they could fix them.Apartments are nice inside with good quiet residents, although the traffic from Lakeshore Drive can be very noisy. Apartments are nice but built very cheap. They spent the least amount of money they could on the interior. Overall a good place to live but the rent is MUCH to high. 800 dollars a month for a one bedroom. What a scam! I would have stayed for maybe 650 but not 800. Over the last year of my residency I noticed more and more empty apartments. If they do not lower the rent to reasonable amount they will not have any tenants for very much longer.
