an ok place to live for the price

My children and I lived here for two years. We enjoyed it mostly. We have had normal problems like roaches and other weird bugs (scorpions and spiders etc.) We even had a run in with a family of mice, which eventually left to go to the great beyond.
Most of the neighbors are cool, but there are (as usual) a few bad apples to spoil the crop.
The buildings are quite old, and the floors in many of the units are in need of stabilizing. If you don't realize this before you move in you might be upset when your lamps hit the floor and your aquarium water is lopsided. Also, the phrase "quit stomping" will become as common as the word "no" for your children. The maintenance team is very friendly and helpful, but always seem to be very busy and I hated asking them for little things like lighting pilot lights and fixing mirrors that slid out of its brackets and too heavy for me to move back into place.
The office staff is the best. They are really the only reason I hate to leave. They are always smiling and talk to residents like humans (not clients).
