I moved in this fall, and it has been only 3 months that I have been here, and I hate this place. My apartment is infested with roaches, I had to replace all my bulbs, half the switches don't work, my balcony door doesn't close properly. There is only one light outside the whole apartment so it is very dark. They promised a ceiling fan, but I am still waiting for it.
I am trying to break my one year lease to get out of the hell hole.
Also, if you like the idea of a pool and a gym, take it out of your mind, there are so many toddlers in the gym that you can't focus on your workout. They will mess you up, make a lot of noise. This is the worst choice that I could have made. btw, a small tree fell on a car during Katrina Hurricane (remnants). Only the front facade of the complex is fenced, so you get a false sense of security, but I have actually seen people come in from the side of the road, through a broken fence, and the management is not concerned at all.
