If I had my way there would be signs up every place I could put them for people not to live here. You pay to much money for a service you can't even receive. The floors are messed up the carpet is old nasty and you can get it cleaned, nails come through the floor, they put this tile in and what a mess, looks like some children playing in mud did it. The air condition needs servicing God knows when thats been done. You call about a problem and they tell you that other thing come first. You got sparks coming out of your fuse box and that ain't important. They will not come and check anything when you call them and they dont care. Until it's time for rent then they know where you are. But I'm going to the law on them and taking the rent money and having the thing fixed that need to be fixed. And if a lot of tenants do the same thing you can bet that somethings will change. If you don't believe me call legal aid and find out what your rights are as it relates to renting when they wont take of the property that you pay so much money to live in and expect quality living.

My advice to anyone thinking of moving here is don't and if landmark is the owner please don't look twice at their complexes they are not worth it.

I definately agree with the writer of this article! I have lived at the Overlook for a year and a half and have been completely unsatisified. My garbage disposal has not worked since I moved in, eveytime I call I am told they will be out the next day, yeah right! I live in a one bedroom on the third floor and the bedroom never gets warm! It is winter now and I just want anyone out there reading this article to imagine paying over $550/month to sleep in freezing temperatures. My power bills usually run between $95-150/month because the ac does not do its job, or is not allowed to do its job because the apartment is so poorly constructed. To complain aabout the problems I've had going unresolved would take all day, but you should be able to get the hint....DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Also, to make things worse, I found out recently that rent prices have increased another $45 and we now have to pay for our water! These people are crazy. Don't be fooled by the gates around the apartments, they have closed only two times since they have been up and will probably never close again, it was just a ploy to be able to raise rent again.
