I haven't lived at Overlook, but I'm so thankful that I don't. Me and my roomate turned in our application with our move in date set two months in advance. Two weeks before we are supposed to move in, the staff suddenly tells us that they moved someone who had a water leak into the apartment we applied for. They TELL us that we must move into a different apartment and ask us to view it before we move in. We viewed it: The toilet seat fell off, wallpaper was peeling, doors were broken, tiles cracked, paint job wasn't finished, and carpet was torn up. Those are just a few of the problems. Not to mention, the staff was incredibly aloof and had the nerve to ask us to move in that dump sooner than our move in date. That place was not liveable, so me and my roomate were left homeless the week before we were supposed to move in. Thank God we found another place the very next day. I really think the "GOOD" reviews are from the staff who are trying to lure people into their awful place. They are always giving specials, but don't fall for them: SPECIALS ARE GIVEN FOR A REASON. So, to sum it all up: The staff doesn't care about the tenants, and the apartments don't look like the pictures.
