Don't let anyone show you the model apt because it is nice but keep in mind it won't be yours. I saw my apt prior to my move in and made out a list of things that needed repairing prior to my move in April, 2006. Before I signed the lease, I was assured by the leasing consultant that the things would be repaired in a week or two. Never happened. After repeated visits to the office, talking to maintenance, talking to the clueless leasing consultants and the not so bright manager, I was assured time and time again that they would get the work order resolved. Here it is the end of June 2006 and maintenance has yet to step foot in my apt. But the ants have. Every week, I have to call to get my name on the list for pest control to spray for ants which does not good. I have resorted to buying my own ant spray which does a better job. At least with my ant spray, the ants have stopped sleeping in our beds with us now. I have even faxed a letter to the office, the management corporation which is Landmark Residential asking for a status. No one has called. If they resolve these issues, it may not be a bad place to leave because the apt area is quiet at night. But at this rate, my lease is up in March 2007 and I am already making plans to move. I haven't put up any pictures on the wall or decorated because it is not a home. Oh and not to mention that the lease states you cannot put nails in their walls, you must use picture hooks. Don't they realize that picture hooks still have nails with them. Idiots!!!!
