I moved in The Overlook Feb 2004, the 1st year was ok. Biggest problem, over the years, was my air being out during the hottest days of the spring/summer. I had to go as far was contacting the Realestate property (in Florida) in order to get my "air unit replaced". To this day I have to call to get coolant "refilled" & we have to "bootleg" the switch to turn air on. We burn up then freeze to cool off again later. Oh yeah, how strange is this my hot water thru bathtub facuet (not shower) is yellow/brown DIRTY. They once told me to just run the hot water for a few miutes & it should clear up. NOT clear yet. I was ok since shower ran fine, but know because of medical problems I need to bath/soak in warm-hot water. I called to report it again (3years later) a week ago, no response yet. I'm sure all of these unresolved issues from residents comes from the property management changes, which as changed 3 times in the 3 years I've been here.

If you have lived here since 2004 and hate it so much why on earth would you continue to live there. I lived here and never had problems like that. I moved in on a special for a really low price and things were fine but you get what you pay for and I was by there just a week ago and am thinking about moving back in there.

Good question, when I moved-in it was on a special also. I knew that I didn't move into a luxury apartment so expected problems, just didnt expect to go through so much to get them resolved. And with the constant change of property management I hoped that things would get better. Unfortunately they are getting worst. I pay $575 water & trash fee (which is a 1st when I re-newed 2007), is what you think that I am getting what I pay for? 2005, I got engaged so wedding planning and money saving was first agendas. Got married in 2006. We start making plans to buy a home within a year after marriage, but I lost my job in 2007. We're trying NOT to move in another apartment or rent again.I want to get what I pay for, I want to see where my money is going and what it is improving. We're back to the drawing board of planning to buy a home 2009. So wish us luck, maybe you'll get our apartment.
