I won't even write about how maintenance never fixed my problems, or about how I lived without an air conditioner for 3 months in the dead of summer, or about how the staff was rude, or about how they constantly sent me notices saying I had never paid my rent and I did, or about how I'm pretty sure one of my neighbors was breeding fighting dogs, or the RIDICULOUS water bills (I am one person and was sent water bills up to $70), but I will write about the most traumatic experience of my life, which occurred at this apartment complex. I was robbed by a man with a gun outside of my apartment and sexually assaulted. The Overlook has very dim outside lighting, no security, and no cameras. The day after this incident it was pretty clear I couldn't live there anymore, but one of the staff members was telling me I was going to have to pay the fee to break the lease anyways, which came out to over $2000. Thankfully that was overturned and I was able to leave without having to pay it, but what a terrible thing to tell someone the day after they were robbed and sexually assaulted. NEVER, EVER CONSIDER LIVING HERE. THE WHOLE PLACE SHOULD BE TORN DOWN!
