I lived here a couple of years ago and I must say that I enjoyed my stay. True there are a lot of kids around the neighborhood and that seems as though it may be a problem, it was not. It was very quiet, I didn't hear anything from my neighbors, and I felt very safe. I would recommend anyone looking, to look here. The only problem I could see, is if you were intentionally trying to be near the downtown, UAB area, its pretty far from that, (out by pinson) but other than that, thouroughly enjoyed
