I live in the Homewood Townhouse Apts that are also run by the management of Redmont Gardens. My experience here would be a good deal better except for the fact that three different tenants have moved in and out of the apartment next door to me since I've been here and only one of them turned out to be decent, considerate neighbors. (The first ones next to me were so bad that they were only here 10 days before they were booted out!) I am convinced that management doesn't check with the prospective tenants' former residency but I'm sure that this is difficult when the former residency must have been the lower planes of Hades. The current neighbors are the reason that I am up at 4:42 am on a Sunday morning because they WILL NOT quiet down with the stomping around and slamming doors. I would suggest to anyone moving here that they request a thorough background check on any prospective tenants being moved in next door to you for noise/health violations in the past. No rent on earth is worth paying if you can't have peace and quiet in your own home!
