First of all, I have already filed two Better Business Bureau complaints against the management of these apartments (who are also management of Redmont Gardens). To get things started, it takes an act of GOD to get maintenance to do ANYTHING at the apartments. Yes, the floorplans are spacious, but the buildings interiors are falling apart (these WERE originally built in the '30's). When my husband and I first moved into our apartment, there was a pile of animal feces in the corner of the kitchen, showing that they had NEVER cleaned the apartment. The phone jack in the bathroom had been RIPPED out of the wall by the previous tennant and they REFUSED to fix it. We lived in the apartment for over a WEEK before we even had a refrigerator because management said there was a problem with the one that had been in there before. Oh, and by the way, our lease said we were to move in on September 1, and we were not allowed to move in until September 9 because they were "cleaning and painting." They don't take care of their tennants, the traffic on Valley is deadly, and the apartments are falling apart. To add to my review, the toilet and the bathtub drains have to be cleaned once a month because they will begin to stop up. Also, there have been reports of a peeping tom in the neighborhood. Parking is impossible. Yes, you can call to have pest control every Monday, but even then, the pests still come full force (maybe they are spraying sugar water') and keys end up missing "mysteriously" out of MANAGEMENT's OFFICE!!! Including the keys to MY apartment. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience any other place I have lived. I fear for my safety, I feel that I am paying WAY too much for the service and apartment that I have, and I really wish that you would reconsider living at these apartments if you are reading this review.
