I have lived at Redmont for almost 3 years. Neighbors have come and gone, and so has the management/office staff. I still like it here. Although, I dislike the walk to the washer/dryer, and I hate the parking situation... it's not that bad. The rent is high, but it's what you should expect for living in MOUNTAIN BROOK! We have never had a problem with the maintenance staff. Our bathroom ceiling was on the verge of collapsing, and they fixed it within 2 days... which was a major repair. I have reccomended Redmont to friends and they love it too. It's charming. Also, if you don't want to have to deal with the problems that happen in old apartments... it's your own fault for moving in here. You knew what you were getting yourself into, these apartments are historic, and with age comes maintenance needs. The staff has done everything to make me feel welcome. They throw block parties several times a year, and send balloons and flowers on my birthday. Once, I ran out of printer ink before a job interview and they let me print out copies of my resume' in their office. They are nothing but nice. I love living here.
