The apartments themselves are less than average. They're cooled by window units; heated by radiators and have circuits that I had never seen before. The walls are thick but the floors are wooden. You will hear every step of those above you. We had maintenance visit relatively frequently. The power went out a couple times late at night for a long while. We had an electrical outlet malfunction and almost cause a fire. Honestly, this will be a deal breaker for some.

The location is great. I really want to stress how much I enjoyed living here. It's a couple minute's walk to the English Village and close to downtown. Walking to the bakery in the morning and picking up a latte at Joe Muggs was an instant habit. Like the title says, it's charming. If you are considering living here and are a smoker, please consider being considerate and don't throw your cigarette buts all over and among the surroundings that are designed to look appealing as if it doesn't diminish the aesthetics.

The staff is amazing. I'm amazed by the reviews that cry negligence because I was always treated with the utmost courtesy; my issues dealt with promptly (however frequent) with follow up calls. The staff also hosts events that promote a sense of community so take advantage. They're great people. I guarantee that if you feel you've had a sour exchange with the staff, it's your fault.

There are not many perks apart from the attractive landscape. There's a sub-par weight room with a decent treadmill and elliptical. The laundry room isn't that great and is a bit over-priced. Parking is below average; somewhat inconvenient for my work schedule.

It's a decent, fun, and highly desirable place to live due to its ideal location and outstanding staff.
