Landlord and management have known about a roof leak in my apt for more than a year--before I rented it long distance when I moved across country. They told me for weeks the roof was being fixed asap. Later it was clear this was wrongh--tar patches were applied after several leaks and multiple months. I kept asking for a real roof. They are now saying they can't do anything and SWEAR the roofers are contracted and they are being scheduled. Over half my apartment the LR--is unusable because it is draped in plastic--I have to perpetually stay prepared for rain and drips/flooding. I had to empty my closet --which is in LR. Clothing is is now all over my bedroom and the hallway.

Did I mention they will not give me a break on the rent despite all this and 7 weeks of plastic and uncertain when the rain will come in'
This is not to mention lousy sloppy maintenence, not having apts ready in time for move in, poorly reglazed tub and sinks, poorly sanded/finished floors, and poorly installed screens leading to my cat falling 2 stories to the ground (she's ok, don't worry)--and much, much more. h yes, they sometimes turn off the heat on cold days, which you don't control.
