Regents Walk is a little better than most cheap apartments you will find all over Greensprings. But it is not worth the expensive rent. Before I moved in, I was told that utilites were included in the rent, which I later find out to be a lie. Also, I specifically asked if there were roaches, and that too was a BIG lie. We had a number of encounters with fleas and roaches. (We are very clean and do not have pets). And the numerous times I called pesticide, would consist of a man with a measly spray can which he would use for a good number of apartments. Then, when the problem got extremely bad they brought in the "real" pesticide people. Also, these apartments are revamped. Meaning they are really old, but just look nice from the outside. Another thing is the parking. For those of you with stickshifts or Hondas, you are pretty much screwed. First, everytime you climbover the high speedbumbs it scrathes up the bottom of your car. Secondly, if you live where I lived, you have to struggle to park. If you find a parking space and decide to park uphill, you may end up hitting the curb, or rather falling into it. And if you park downhill, once again the bottom of your car scrapes the high parking bar because of gravity. And if you park before you hit the bar, you have a good chance of someone else hitting your car while they are backing out. AGGHHH! There are some good things about Regents walk. The management is really sweet, they try to help you out if they can and are very friendly, The rooms seem pretty clean and may include washers and dryers and there is also a trash pick up. Their exercise and other such rooms are nicely decorated but really don't sum up to what you expect. I guess I dont think its all worth the rent I have to pay. You may have a good experience. If you decide to move there, make sure you:
1. live below the hill, dont have roaches in your area (good tip is to ask neighbors), make sure the people who lived there before you didn't have a big nasty cat, check to see if you have a dumpster near you. And I think that would improve your experience alot. Good apartment hunting!
