My family and I have lived on the property since 1997. I am very disappointed in the entire staff now that it is The renaissance. I have called at least 3 times in less than a week to get something simple to fix. I guess they too, thought it was simple. There are several things wrong with my apartment. When colonial owned the property, I never had a problem with any staff members. When something needed to be fixed, it was done in a fashionable amount time. The managment was always so kind and helpful. The maintenance staff was wonderful especially Micheal, who left when the property was sold. We have decided to make Alabama our permanent home and will not
renew our lease. We used to love the property, it was our home, now it doesn't feel the same. I have told 2 of my close friends who are moving to Birmingham this summer, to stay away from this property and all other properties owned by this company. I have recommended them to go to any colonial property.The new managment has gone in the wrong direction! The new upgrades are just ok, there is more damage to my apartment after the new upgrades, my baseboards sre still damaged, the paint has been chipped of from all the new floor work. We will not renew our lease.
