I have lived at River Place for almost 6 years and have gone through several managers and I guess management companies. There were a couple of years we were terrorized by the manager, then there was a manager who couldn't have cared less, and who wouldn't deal with issues like trash and trashy vehices and the like. There was one bright spot for about a year and a half with a manager who seemed to take pride in the property and things were looking good. For some reason around the first of the year, this manager was let go and the last manager who is apethatic at best came back to the property. There are now trailers with tarps on them, motorcycle type trailers parked on the property. The landscaping is ragged at best. They do however keep around the office very neat and tidy, I guess to throw prospects off.

I was forced by the way the rating works to give the staff low marks. I feel like everyone on the staff does a really great job as far as being helpful and responsive and tries to take up the slack for the manager and management company they have.

I think it's sad when personal friends go online to slander a reputable manager. Although this website could be used professionally and help prospective tenants with information regarding current resident's experiences; it could also be a format for angered resident who are mad about being evicted, angered because thier friend was fired, etc. and make totally unfounded comments and acusations just to get even or to slander someone without just cause for the purpose of making the person fired look better than their job performance dictated.

i agree that the management is horrible. ----- is a heinous b**** who cares nothing about the tenants. there were drug dealers who were terrorizing everyone at the pool. i couldn't take my kids to the pool the whole summer. and she refused to do anything about it. there is a massive bug problem because the place is so rundown. maintenance won't do crap, and the after-hours answering service people are useless. i'm trying to terminate my lease early because it's a nightmare. by the way, ----- also promised me a deal upon signing the lease and has yet to live up to it.
