I did not know that! The corridor leading to my apartment is always NASTY too! When I fist moved in there was a banana peel laying out there for over a month! And you're right management is not good, that's putting it nicely...maintanence is even worse. Minimum 2 weeks to get anything fixed and that's only if you call at least 3 times (during which time people in the office will respond with an attitude) and when they do finally come they leave nasty remarks with exclamation points behind them on the service request. I always feel like they are yelling at me for asking them to come to my apt. to fix something. For the over $700 that I am paying for this hole in the wall they should be calling me just to see if I would like them to come by and make sure everything is working okay EXCLAMATION POINT

LOL I know what you mean, I swear something has broken every month that I have lived here. They talk about all these renovations, but have they done anything to the inside? They certaintly haven't mine
