Poor Management, Old Rickety Apartments. Is this section 8' Not supposed to be, but I wondered. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/20/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006 1 response I had a terrible experience while living here. There were several break-ins during the day and nobody really seemed to care. The door across the hall from mine looked like it had been broken into with a crow bar. Lots of --------- living here that stand outside and stare at you. Please don't live in a walk-in unit because the buildings are so old you can hear everything and every word the people above you say. The floors creak with every step they make and every little thing they drop sounds like it's coming through your ceiling. I think there was a bowling alley above mine. They have beautiful fireplaces but you can't use them. They don't meet the building code requirements. One building even looks like it's going to break right down the middle. The Management is awful. There's always someone different in the office. They hire temps and the temps give out information that isn't true. Then, when you confront the office workers later about what the temp told you (not knowing you spoke with a temp), they tell you that was a temp and she didn't know what she was talking about. They want to charge you for damage they make to the apartments. Some people shoot fireworks all during the year, all during the night. Yes, they may have done some little bit of work on the outside but the inside is terrible. BIG ROACHES!!!! Amazingly, pest control leaves a slip of paper every now and then to tell you they've sprayed. I think the roaches feed off of the crap they spray with. They keep going up on the rent for a hole in the wall. Go somewhere else - who cares if they offer free rent' There's a reason they offer free rent because trash lives there and they're having a hard time getting people to sign leases.
